Welcome to Le Grange Gites, Morbihan, Brittany, France. Le Grange Gites in Brittany offer a complex of 4 Self Catering Gites / Holiday Cottages with private gardens (secure for young children), Heated Swimming Pool (average pool temp 28 to 31 deg C), Play Area with Trampoline, Badminton, Games and more, Bramble Gite is 4 Person, Willow Gite is 4 Person, Ivy Gite is 6 Person and the Cider House is 7 / 8 Person, all Gites also have travel cots available. All our Gites have been renovated within our 19th century Longere to a high standard and finish. We are ideally located within Morbihan, with easy access to all of Southern Morbihan. The complex of our Holiday Cottages / Gites are also ideal for multiple bookings and families. Fishing - For the fisherman or fisherwomen or for those that would like to try, we now own a well stocked fishing lake (lots of carp etc), in superb grounds, that is open to our Gite guests, we also have arranged access for a limited number of Anglers to fish a second fishing lake with carp to 40lb, good tench and trout, please see our fishing page for details on both lakes |

About us and our Gites, we are located in a lovely part of Southern Morbihan, within easy access to Beaches, Historic Towns, Villages and many attractions, we are located in a small hamlet of 9 houses, yet within an easy walk to a lovely village with bakeries, restaurants and bars etc. Around the Gites you have lovely views of the countryside and wildlife beyond. Our Gites are suitable for Couples, Families or Groups, all Gites have there own private garden, lovely BBQ, as well as access to the Pool and Communal Garden. Our Gites are very child friendly, with safety stair gates, high chairs, travel cots and baby baths, all free of charge if required. All of our Gites are kept decorated to a high standard and finish. We live on site so are open all year and available to answer any questions you may have. Of interest to children or adults, we have in our garden Chickens, Quail, and a Rabbit, If you would like to come and see / help feed them just ask. We also have a Polytunnel and a small Onsite Shop for fresh and homemade produce and any essentials, we hope that you will choose to stay at Le Grange Gites in Brittany and look forward to welcoming you. Le Grange Gites
are perfectly set within a small very peaceful and tranquil hamlet,
with own parking, no nearby main roads, so just birdsongs, within walking
distance of the pretty village of Moreac (see "Our
Local Village") in the centre of southern Morbihan, Brittany.
Our Brittany Gites / Holiday Cottages are central to many places of
interest including Locmine, Pontivy, Josselin, Vannes, Golf de Morbihan,
Mur de Bretagne, Carnac, Auray, Blavet valley and St-Nicholas des eaux,
a 30 minute easy drive will take you to the coast. We have

Set in Almost an acre of ground each Gite has its own private garden all as a large gravelled patio area, washing line, patio furniture, sun parasol and quality BBQ. A gate from the private garden leads to a large communal garden / play area with a 6.55m (21 ft) diameter by 1.33m (4 ft) deep heated pool (average pool temp 28 to 31 deg C), secret cabin, play house, Play equipment with rock climbing wall & Slide, football goal, badminton, boules for children and adults, swing set, picnic bench, toddler slide and see saws, giving games for young and old alike. There are also picnic benches to the front of the Gites for those who fancy breakfast in the Sun. Our Brittany Gites have been renovated to a high standard, we have also kept many of the original features, including replacing many materials with re-claimed to maintain the originality of the longere, in addition the Gites / Cottages have open beamed ceilings downstairs and parts of the original beams have been exposed upstairs. The Gites are well equiped with washing machines, full size kitchen appliances and much more (for more details click the Gite names above), in addition all rooms within the Gite have electric heating. |

Local to the Gites / Cottages
is the village of Moreac, with a fantastic park area and lake, 3 Bars
/ Tabacs, 2 Restaurants, 2 very good Bakeries, Village shop / small Super
market, Post office, 2 Pizza Takeaways, Cash Machine (that accepts most major cards and
is in English!), Doctors, Dentist, 2 Hair Dressers, Village park with
lake and walk, Church also good parking available around all of the
village, 8mins away by car will take you to the Sculpture park (300
acres+) free access all year round with 2 lakes many walks, short or
long, information centre with free maps etc of the park, coffee shop
and chateaux, well worth a visit whilst here. |
Also located 5 mins to
the north is the village of Naizin which has a lovely lake and animal
park again all free to visit and park, you can walk the outskirts of
the lake in 20 mins, there is also crazy golf, table tennis, during
the summer months a small cafe on the lake sells hot and cold drinks,
beer, cider, ice creams etc, there are swings and slides etc, fitness
obstacles around the lake, boules alleys (free to use), the animal park
has many species of birds, ducks and geese, also rabbits, chickens,
deer's, peacocks plus all the wild birds etc. |

A larger lake is also near
by in the village of Reguiny again 5 mins away, good fishing here with
large carp, there is also children's parks etc, this lake takes approx
45 mins to walk around, also close to the lake there is an outdoor swimming
pool. The village of Locmine close by (5 mins), has 4 major supermarkets,
Indoor Heated swimming pool. A weekly village street market (Thursday
mornings), many bars shops restaurants etc, if you want good traditional
French lunch /meal then we know of 2 restaurants which for around 10
to 11 euros a head offer 4 course meals including wine / cider and water,
so there's a bargain, but best to book as they get full quickly!. 20
mins to the north is the town of Pontivy which has all the above and
