Josselin

15 minutes away is the very picturesque medieval town of Josselin, The main attraction is its Chateau with its three majestic towers dominating La Vallee de L'Oust, and its splendid flamboyant gothic facade, medieval timber framed buildings, lovely canal for walks, fantastic church with free entry to climb the tower and view the town and Chateau, and many cafes and gift shops this makes Josselin and must for a visit

The Chateau is open for visitors at the following times (2010 opening times)

From 3rd April to 13th July

The Castle and the Doll museum are opened everyday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

From 14th July to 29th August

The Castle and the Doll museum are opened everyday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

From 30th August to the 30th September

The Castle and the Doll museum are opened everyday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

In October

The Castle and the Doll museum are opened on Saturdays and Sundays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and everyday during French school holidays.

From 1st November to start of April 2011 the Castle and the Doll museum are closed

There is also an English speaking guided tour (included within your entry fee) every day at 14:30, during July and August
