Pool and Gardens

Below is some information and pictures of the Pool and Garden facilities

Swimming Pool

 

Solar and Heat Pump heated Swimming Pool

Average pool temperature 28 to 31 deg C

 

6.55m (21 ft) diameter x 1.33m (4ft) deep, high quality Pool with high quality liner, timber sided finished with a quality hardwood coping with access steps and a fenced and gated patio area for safe access.

 

 

 

There are Pool Inflatables available to use and we can supply armbands for younger children, we also have an inflatable baby seat that you are welcome to use.

 

 

 

Pool generally available May to September weather dependant, although we do try to open the pool earlier and close it later,

Pool with 3 Solar Panels developing up to 36kWH of heat Daily

 

 

 

 

 

Patio area for access to the pool and for towels and shoes, with boltable gate for additional security for the younger children

 

 

Badminton, Football & Boules

 

 

Located around the communal gardens there is a Badminton net, Football Goal and space for playing Boules

 

 

 

There is a toy box within the communal garden containing the following for your use:

 

 

  • Rackets
  • Shuttlecocks
  • Footballs
  • Children and Adult Boules sets

 

 

 

 

 

12 ft Trampoline with saftey netting

The trampoline is made available from the beginning of April to the end of October

Play equipment with Slide and Rock Climbing Wall, Swing Set, Seesaw, Small Slide, Play House & Secret Cabin

 

 

 

  Located around the communal gardens are the following:

 

 

 

  • Rock Climbing Wall and Slide

 

 

 

 

 

2 Twin swing sets

 

One set as either

  • 2 Normal swings or a Baby swing and One Normal swing

 

 

 

 

 

The other set as:

  • Swing bar
  • Normal swing
  • Climbing rope

 

 

 

 

 

  • Young children's Seesaws and Slide

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

  • Secret Cabin with blackboard, chalks, crayons and colouring

  • Play House with Benches

 

 

Private Gardens

 

  All Gites have their own private garden with patio furniture, sun parasol, washing line and quality BBQ

 

A gate from the private garden leads to the play area and pool. Keeping the garden secure for younger children

BBQ's

 

  All our Gites have their own BBQ and accessories, for those warm evenings

 

Charcoal and Lighting Fluid available on site

The Animals

  We have in our own garden the following animals that you are welcome to see, feed & collect eggs:

 

 

  • Chickens
  • Rabbit
  • Quails

 

 

Gardens

 

 

 

  As above the Gites have their own private gardens that lead (by a gate) to the communal garden where the above is located beyond this are lovely views across the countryside

 

 

 

 

There are Picnic Benches in the communal garden (one for each Gite), Also these are ideal for multiple families or making friends and putting the benches together for BBQ's etc

 

 

We also have table covers for the picnic benches for special celebratory meals etc

 

 

 

To the front of the Gites there are also a couple of Picnic Benches

 

 

 

Our Gites are set in a very peaceful location with no main roads nearby so you can relax and enjoy your holiday just listening to the bird songs

 

Our Garden

  In addition to the Gite communal garden our garden is separated by a gate to keep it secure, but for Adults should you wish you are welcome to sit around our Pond and Orchard with a coffee or glass of wine to enjoy the peace and tranquillity

If our Children are fishing in the pond and you have children that would like to see the fishing they are more than welcome to come with you to the pond

Sorry we do ask that children be accompanied at all times especially near the pond for their safety

There is also a Picnic Bench near the pond

Pond fish include:

  • Carp
  • Roach
  • Rudd
  • Goldfish
  • Gudgeon
  • Perch
  • Koi Carp
  • Bream

Also many species of Dragon flies, Butterflies, Frogs, Toads and Newts are found in and around the pond

 

We do our best to maintain all the items above within our Gite Grounds, however we reserve the right to remove or replace any items at our discretion without notice.
