A 40 minute drive will take you to Auray, where you can catch the scenic tourist train to Quiberon a very relaxing and simple way to spend the day, alternatively you can travel all the way by car about 60 minutes from the Gites, once at Quiberon you have a large sandy beach, very safe for children, many shops, restaurants cafe's etc along the seafront, also there is a ice-cream parlour with over 100 flavours, just to the right of Quiberon is the "Cote Savage" also worth a visit

In additon from Quiberon you can also take the ferry on a day trip to the "Belle Ile" 15km from the coast

The local TER train can be taken from Auray station; the route is very scenic and runs through the following places listed below Train Route / Stops (you can exit and return at any of these stops or buy a day pass and get on and off all day as you please)
