Lesley and Simon. We really enjoyed our trips out, seeing a part of France we were not familiar with.

However what really made it so enjoyable was your hospitality and the quality and taste of your home grown produce – Eggs like we have never tasted before and cucumbers that actually have a flavour

Many thanks Pauline and John, Gosport, September 2010

We have enjoyed a lovely return visit to Le Grange Gites. Last year we stayed in Willow Gite, this time in Ivy Gite. The Gite was very clean and comfortable. The weather has been kinder to us this year. We have enjoyed sunny days and several BBQ’s in the evenings.

We have retuned to some of the places we visited last year including Josselin, the sculpture park and chateau and Locmine Thursday market.

At Josselin we parked at Simon and Lesleys Fishing Lake and then took the very pleasant stroll along the canal into the town. We returned to Josselin on Saturday morning for the market there.

New places we visited were Carnac, Iles-aux-moins and the old towns of Auray and Malestroit

At Carnac, after our picnic on the beach, we boarded le petit train, which took us on a ride along the promenade to Trinité-sur-Mer and then around to the fields of ancient standing stones. They are an amazing site.

The trip to the Iles-aux-moins was very worthwhile. There are many paths to walk with lovely views over the Gulf de Morbihan with its many islands, yachts and small boats. Next time we go we plan to hire bikes so we can see more of the island

Lesley and Simon have been very welcoming hosts always ready to help with local information. We have enjoyed quite a lot of their home-grown and homemade produce, especially the Jams and Chutney. We certainly hope to return to Le Grange Gites in the future

Sylvia and John, Cheshire, September 2010

Many thanks to you both for a really lovely holiday. Nothing was too much trouble, anything we needed or were not sure about you helped us with and that really makes all the difference!

The facilities here are great, the patio and the shared garden, pool etc. Our daughter Emelia loved the swing and slide!

We visited three beaches during our stay, I think the sand and facilities were the best at Damgan.

The animal park at Branfere was excellent value for money and a great day out for children.

We’ve all had a great time, so much to see and do we could have done with another few days!

Best of luck for the future at the Gites

Paula, Steve and Emelia, Halifax, September 2010

We have had a great start here to our multi stop break (6 nights at Le Grange Gites)

Simon and Lesley have done an excellent job with the Gites and are helpful hosts and are not intrusive whilst you are here yet available at any time for any questions or advice we may seek.

We would recommend

· The War Museum at Reguiny the lady here was very informative and helpful
· The Town, Church and Chateau at Josselin
· The market and town of Vannes (park in the port, great car-park)
· The Submarine Pens and Museum at Lorient
· The Resistance Museum in between Saint-Marcel and Malestroit
· Port Louis and Lorient
· Quiberon

Finally thanks again to Simon and Lesley, we wish them every success

Steve and Juliette, Dorset, September 2010

We have all enjoyed our week here.

The children would have spent all week in the garden enjoying the pool and variety of play equipment

We have enjoyed collecting shells from the beach at Damgan; the castle at Josselin was wonderful although we refrained from the 45 minute guided tour in French with three little ones!

The Prehistoric park and Sculpture park were enjoyable days out.

Lesley and Simon have been incredibly helpful and wonderful hosts, Thank you

Madeline, Scott, Mille (8), Samuel (4) and Eden (3), Kent, September 2010

We have thoroughly enjoyed our return visit to Le Grange Gites.

The children have once again enjoyed the garden and pool and all of the friends they have made here.

Nathaniel enjoyed the company of Jake once again!

The area is beautiful and the beaches are not crowded

Thanks for a relaxing holiday

Lesley, Stuart, Nathaniel, Thomas and Jude, Staffordshire, August – September 2010

Thank you for helping us have a very pleasant holiday. The clean and well-equipped Gite / garden was a relaxing environment during the day and also in evenings after days out.

There was plenty to do whatever the weather both near and further afield such as:

· Excellent Monday market at Questembert
· Nazin park and indoor table tennis
· Chateau near Bignan (Parc de sculptures)
· Market day at Josselin and the Chateau, Church and Canal there
· Market day at Vannes
· Beaches at Carnac and Suscinio (lovely Chateau)
· Damgan and market
· Pontivy, old part well worth a visit
· Life guarded beach at Erdeven

The last part of our 10 day break is “set fair” for more visits to the lovely coastline

Thanks to Lesley and Simon for their friendly and helpful approach, both, before and during our holiday

Best wishes

Had a lovely 10 days here, despite a couple of rainy days. The Gite and garden are great – very well equipped and maintained. The kids absolutely loved the garden and pool, which meant the adults, could chill out and enjoy their holiday too.

The information packs are really useful and Simon and Lesley are always on hand too help if needed.

Overall, a really pleasant break enjoyed by kids and adults a like, thank you

Many thanks

Kevin, Joanne, Zoe and Sam, Wigan, July 2010

Thank you very much for a relaxing holiday.

It is the perfect place to stay with children.

Your help and kindness have made this the ideal place to spend time as a family.

Every day the children asked, “When can we go back to the Gite?”

We loved all the little thoughtful things – even blowing up the inflatables!!

Your dedication and hard work that you have all put into this venture clearly shows.

Fraser loved the swimming pool and Matthew grew in confidence on the trampoline.

The chickens were a super attraction each morning.

We admire your risk taking spirit and your spirit of adventure

Good luck and enjoy what you have here!

Ruth, Steve, Fraser (6) and Matthew (2 ½), Exeter, Devon, July 2010

P.S Hope to visit again in the future.

Spent a most enjoyable 2-week break here at the Gites. Lesley and Simon have been excellent, very helpful hosts during our stay.

We’ve loved the weather after a slow start and spent lots of time in the pool and garden.

Some highlights for us have been the fresh croissants, pain au chocolate and baguettes from the boulangerie in Moreac; walking around the local towns of Locmine and Josselin, Vannes and Pontivy; the lakes and parks in Reguiny and Nazin; the beaches at Damgan and Quiberon – All highly recommenced!

Thanks from Ruth, Steven, Kmily, Archie and Kate, (Aitchison family – Cider House Gite), Dunfermline, July 2010

We’ve had a lovely restful time here, great sunny weather to enjoy in the garden, and the Gite has been an excellent base from which to explore Morbihan

- We quite fancy returning in the winter to use the log-burner!
- Strongly recommend “Pause Gourmand” (a restaurant / Creperie) beside the church in Locmine for dinner

Pete, Sarah, Luke (9) and Sam (1), (Aitchison family – Ivy Gite), Dunfermline, July 2010

A great holiday – just finished

We all really enjoyed staying here, the facilities are very good and we especially enjoyed the pool and play area

Thanks to Simon and Lesley for their welcome and open home

We very much enjoyed the fresh veg and homemade jam and chutney (particularly good with the BBQ’s)

All the best and maybe see you soon

Fantastic 2 weeks in the area for our family, generally great weather and easy access from the Gites to the beaches, local villages, markets etc

The Gites and gardens are excellent and we all enjoyed the pool lots on the hot days.

Very relaxing location and accommodating hosts

Look forward to seeing what develops at the new venture, the fishing lake at Josselin.

Thanks and best wishes

We have just finished a lovely stay at “Le Grange Gites”

Lesley and Simon couldn’t have been more welcoming and helpful.

The Gites totally exceeded our expectations.

Fantastic holiday with great weather, areas to visit were excellent

Josselin and Vannes and beaches of Quiberon and Carnac are all well worth a visit

The local bakeries provide first class croissants for breakfast

Lesley and Simon are very good hosts and the pool was great for a dip after a day out.

Rob, Karen, Erin, Robert and Eleanor, Surrey and Scotland, July 2010

A fantastic holiday; a week was not long enough. There is so much to see and do.

Moreac is a fantastic base; the Gite was perfect with everything that you need to make it a home from home.

Our boys loved feeding the chickens and seeing daisy the rabbit every morning. An afternoon would not have been complete without a dip in the pool and our 4 year old playing with Jake the “Sea Monster”!

Simon and Lesley were perfect welcoming hosts. They have created something to be very proud of and hopefully a successful business.

Josselin and Vannes are well worth a visit

The weather was fantastic and would have made for a perfect holiday. All bar England loosing 4-1 to Germany!!! In the world cup. I guess you can’t have everything.

We hope to be back before long

Bob, Cara, Toby and Harry, Poole, Dorset, June – July 2010

Had a fantastic relaxing holiday.

The children loved the trampoline, pool, garden and feeding the chickens.

The beach at Damgan is great for young children and they and we loved the chateau at Suscinio.

A good base to explore the area and a lovely homely Gite with a warm welcome.

Thank you.

Matt, Laura, Ruth (4) and Isaac (1), Frimley, Surrey, June 2010

We have really enjoyed our time here; “Le Grange Gites” are lovely – so well fitted out. We had everything we needed here.

The Pool and the Garden area were great. Lovely to be able to come back, after our day touring around and get into the pool or relax out on the patio.

We enjoyed the “Boules” and Martin enjoyed kicking about with his soccer ball. Lesley and Simon are excellent hosts and were very helpful with any queries we had about the area. The service they provide by stocking some household items (washing tablets etc) was very beneficial instead of having to buy a big pack in the supermarket we could just pop next door and get some!

We enjoyed “Le Gare” restaurant and it was everything Simon and Lesley said it would be and great value for money

Thank you Simon, Lesley, Josh and Jake and the very best of luck with the lake and the fishing.

Gay, Eamon and Martin (11), Wexford, Ireland, June 2010

Thank you for a lovely relaxing stay here in Bramble Gite.

We’ve had an excellent time despite some heavy showers

Loved the pool and managed some Football, Badminton and Boules!

Carnac, Quiberon and Josselin all good for a day trip – Locmine market provided some good photo’s even if a little late in the week to actually benefit from buying any of the delicious looking food!

Hopefully we’ll be back again in the future – with friends! Especially if the prices stay so wonderfully low.

Congrats to Simon and Lesley on a wonderful set up here!

Rosey and Peter, London, June 2010

We have had a great holiday. The area has been beautiful and interesting to explore, we enjoyed visiting Josselin. The people are very friendly and helpful.

We have found the Gite very comfortable, and has everything you need.

Our son Ethan enjoyed playing out back in the pool and on the swings.

Thank you Simon and Lesley for a great holiday, you have been very generous and welcoming.

All the best and Success for the future
