Thank you Lesley and Simon
The Gite surpassed the good listing on the Internet. We greatly appreciated the helpfulness of the owners.
It is so convenient for many places to visit i.e.
Peillac Chestnut Festival
Also the well-behaved log burner was appreciated
Paul and Carol, Devon, October 2012
Thank you Lesley and Simon
We were made to feel most welcome and everything was thought of to make it a most enjoyable and comfortable stay
You have done a great job and we wish you all the best in the future. If we ever get the chance, we would love to stay here again
John and Carol, Hobart, Tasmania, Australia, October 2012
A very enjoyable stay here – one of the best Gites we’ve had. It is so comfortable and peaceful.
But the outstanding plus has been Simon and Lesley. Before we left home we had a phone call making sure we were aware of the Brittany Ferries strike, and during our stay up-dated us frequently on the situation and managed to re-book our return trip. This meant another day here – not a problem!
There are some lovely beaches nearby, the canal, pretty towns and villages, all of which we enjoyed.
The Musée de la Résistance Bretonne at Saint Marcel just outside Malestroit is one of the best we’ve seen; not only static displays but also very informative films. An excellent English booklet is available for the tour.
Thank you Simon and Lesley for everything including the lovely produce.
We hope we will return!
Norman and Sue, Devon, September – October 2012
Dear Simon and Lesley
Just to thank you for a wonderful relaxing holiday and wonderful stay
Lovely weather for most of the holiday, but so relaxing to stay in the Gite
Also thank you for all your help with the ferries, just wished we had waited a little longer to boot and we could have extended our holiday a little longer.
Your attention to detail is second to none and your help was invaluable
Hope to return soon
Sue and Chris, Derbyshire, September 2012

Just keep doing what you are doing it certainly is a winning formula

We have enjoyed a lovely return holiday in Ivy Gite
We have visited several places again, Josselin, Rohan, Malestroit and Carnac. Also the Sculpture Park
We had a lovely sunny day on the Ile aux Moines. A really beautiful place! Also this year we did the train journey from Auray to Quiberon. This was the last Saturday the train went this summer so we were really lucky. It was a super trip especially as the weather was perfect, the views are terrific
Thankyou Lesley and Simon for your warm welcome, also for the produce from your garden
We hope to visit again in the future
Sylvia and john, Warrington, Cheshire, September 2012
Thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks stay
Surroundings very pleasant and relaxing, you have both done an excellent job with the Gites, and put a lot of thought into the conversions
We would have no hesitation in recommending you, and the flexibility of the accommodation makes it suitable for all permutations! Well done!
The weather has been kind to us, and you have both been very helpful, and gone out of your way for us, not to mention of course the excellent produce, eggs, etc.
We hope to return, and look forward to seeing you again.
Thank you, and all the best in the future

Hello Lesley and Simon
We had a great time at Le Grange. Our gite was very comfortable and extremely well equipped. The facilities, garden, swimming pool etc., are a credit to you.
The idyllic private fishing lake was a real bonus.

Dear Lesley and Simon
A short but lovely break. The Gite was perfect for us, even with 2 teenagers. The hospitality shown by you and Simon in particular was a bonus and very reassuring.
We enjoyed exploring the local area, in particular the markets and beaches. Locmine is a lovely town and Quiberon a great seaside resort
I am sure we will be back!

We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and time to spend quality time with family and friends
There has been plenty to do both at the Gites and out and about.
So proud of how our children have listened to and respected the expectations of looking after the play equipment, pool etc that have been kindly provided
Lesley and Simon have been wonderful hosts from providing cake tines for birthday cakes, to directions and ideas, and of course veg and wine!

This year we especially enjoyed the Sculpture Park @ Domaine de Kerguéhennec where there was also a great art exhibition in the Chateau
We love coming here you make our holiday great for both of us (parents) and Freya (10) and Oisin (nearly 7).
Normally we stay in the “Willow Gite” but this year we were too late. The “Cider House” was fabulous, thank you

We had a very nice relaxing 2 weeks at Le Grange Gites. My husband
is a keen cyclist and found some very interesting rides to go on every
morning. You are in a very beautiful part of France.
Thank you Simon and Lesley for a fantastic week, we were lucky with the weather and had cloudless days for most of our stay.
After two months of rain back in the Uk we have recharged our batteries.
This is such a great place for children and given the chance ours would have spent all week in the pool / on the swings / in the Cabin.
We managed to drag them away and enjoyed great days out in Vannes, Josselin, Ile Aux Moines and on the beaches around Trinite sur mer.
Lesley and Simon were lovely hosts and nothing was too much trouble,
None of us want to leave, we will be back again in the future.
Steve, Hannah, Ruby and Evelyn, Cornwall, July 2012
We have had a lovely week her in hot sunshine!
Really like the peaceful rural area and empty roads here.
We loved our cycle rides along the Nantes / Brest Canal to Josselin and around the sculpture park.
Have had excellent crepes at Le Forges next to the canal and near Suscinio Chateau on form!
The children love the garden and pool and playing with new friends – had to get them to go anywhere else!
Sarah, Phil, Elodie & Frank, Stroud, Gloucestershire, July 2012
It was so much fun! I liked the pool, best. The pool was cool, Elodie (7)
We have just returned from 2 brilliant weeks in Ivy.
We were very comfortable in the cottage and it had everything we needed.
Simon & Lesley were very friendly and helpful hosts and we loved buying the fresh produce from their garden, including the delicious eggs from the chickens and the yummy jams and chutneys.
The girls loved the play equipment in the garden and we all enjoyed the swimming pool.
Le Grange Gites is a great place to relax and unwind, in a peaceful location, but well-situated for the local bakeries and shops, and for taking day trips.
We particularly enjoyed the boat trip from Port Blanc to Ile aux Moines, the train ride from Auray to Quiberon, and our visit to Concarneau and Pont Aven.
Rachel, Scott, Bethany (3) & Phoebe (16 months), Bristol, July 2012

Mr and Mrs Williams (Mandy and Chris) would like to thank Simon and Lesley a enjoyable week, very peaceful which was wonderful from the hustle and bustle of home / work etc
The Gites which we have never stayed in before were beautiful, could not ask for anything better
As this time we were a party of 10 adults (in all 4 Gites) as a biker club and would really like to bring my grandchildren back here
Mandy and Chris, and thank you again, Wales, June / July 2012
We’ve had a very enjoyable week staying at Le Grange Gites. Thank you for being so friendly and welcoming. It’s a great location for exploring Brittany and so peaceful.
We’ve enjoyed searching for megalithics, particularly at Carnac, Locmariaquer, the Ile de Moins and Gavrinis.
The castle at Josselin is lovely and well worth a visit.
Our favourite restaurant was the Aux 4 Saisons, beautifully cooked food at a reasonable price.
Janet, Robert and Katherine, Reading, June 2012
We had a lovely week, despite some rain!
The Gite had everything we needed in it and the garden was great for Lucie
The garden was amazing, Lucie loved the trampoline and swing and it was nice that everything was enclosed and safe
The information packs within the Gite were really informative and useful, thanks
Visited lots of places, the beach at Damgan was lovely, Josselin was nice for a walk around, Suscinio beach was beautiful and had the added attraction of a Crepe restaurant near the Chateau
We ate at Au-Vieux-Pressoir, the food was good and they were very welcoming
Thanks, Liz, Dan and Lucie (2), Cambridge, June 2012

Dear Simon and Lesley
Just wanted to say we had a lovely holiday at your Gite and to thank you for all your help and sharing your corner of the world with us.
From stair gates to mini paddling pool, you provided everything we needed to make life easy for us.
The girls loved the garden, playing with the stones in our garden area and the bucket of pegs was endlessly amusing to them!!

The Gite is very comfortable and the washing machine a godsend with a 2 ½ year old
We’ve had some enjoyable days out, particularly Carnac and Quiberon, very scenic
The Chickens and Daisy have been a firm favourite of Thomas’s I’m sure he will miss them!
